Hidden gems are allegedly hard to find. This may well ring true for many things in life, whatever that gem might be. In the case of websites, there are actually many gems out there, and the majority of them definitely aren’t hidden. In fact they are already household names that are ever increasingly becoming the fabric of our crazy interactive lives. The emergence of technology has meant that information can be delivered to us at such an incredible pace, so fast, that its not feasibly possible to completely quantify the complexity of how we should learn to adapt. Confused? Who wouldn’t be? What I am getting at is that even though we now have useful tools to manage and control our online experiences, there are perhaps billions of sublime stones that litter our world but have yet to be Stumbled Upon. Web traffic has completely unique properties, and as our online interactions take less time to complete, emotions become far more important in our decision making process. It seems now that websites have the ability to respond to our needs, it almost seems like our online presence is getting less virtual and, for want of a better word, more ‘real‘.
We all can make mistakes, but nature plays a very big part in keeping things together, and our planet is constantly adapting to change, faster than we realize. Our actions are all having an affect on the world in one way or another.I hope anyone who has taken the time to read this ramble can also take something away from it and maybe, somewhere, through the evolutionary process that subsequently occurs, a new gem is created using some of the tools at your disposal. Later on, I hope to be able to demonstrate how simple it is to register a domain name, download templates, utilize hosting services and build a quality website of your own later..
